The above Delica Opaque dyed beads have an extra touch of dye finish to enhance color longevity appearance. Opaque means light won’t shine through. These large hole-perfectly cylinder beauties can accommodate various passes of thread for one’s loom and off-loom beading creative projects. Opaque means light won’t shine through. An excellent use for even-count and odd-count peyote stitch plus brick stitch.

DELICA Opaque dyed beads. The most sought-after premium type bead. DELICA is a brand name bead produced by Miyuki the world standard glass seed bead manufacturer known for their brilliance, uniform tubular shape and high quality, est. in the 1930’s. Origin Japan ~With seed bead sizing, in general, the larger the size number the smaller the bead is in size. ~"Seed beads" is a term meaning small bead. ~(D) = dyed, ~OP = Opaque ~Different color finishes affect both weights and bead count per gram, so approximates are used. ~Color holds up well, there is no problems with general use.
~Individual fading issues/color change that could occur with any color bead type - maybe due to bright sun exposure/ultraviolet light, skin acid or deterioration with time. ~Best to also avoid dry cleaning and/or washing beads with harsh hand soaps or chemicals. ~Overall from our experience/feedback there has been less than .001% issues with these types Delica bead colors. Finished DELICA seed bead designs are smooth and resembles a flat like aspect.
