DURACOAT is a durable clear thick coating for dyed beads. The stronger layer consistently out lasts the standard craft brand beads. They are High quality, brilliance, they will not flake or dull. Opaque means light won't shine through, has an extra touch of dye finish to enhance color longevity appearance. An excellent use for even-count & odd-count peyote stitch plus brick stitch.

Duracoat Opaque Dyed Rocaille beads are produced by Miyuki, considered the world standard glass bead manufacturer known best for their vast variety, high quality seed beads, est. in the 1930’s. Origin Japan (Rocaille) is an old term: to mean round or moderately oval shaped seed beads. These popular (Rocaille) round type of beads are some of the most common beads used for jewelry bead weaving by hand or with a loom. ~With seed bead sizing, in general, the larger the size number, the smaller the bead is in size. ~"Seed beads" is a term meaning small bead., ~(D) = dyed, ~DC = Duracoat protective finish. ~Color holds up well, there is no problems with general use. ~Individual fading issues/color change that could occur with any color bead type - maybe due to bright sun exposure/ultraviolet light, skin acid or deterioration with time. ~Best to avoid dry cleaning and/or washing beads with harsh hand soaps or chemicals. ~Overall from our experience/feedback there has been less than.01% issues with these types Delica Opaque bead colors.
