DELICA Duracoat silver-lined matte dyed beads. The most sought-after premium type bead. DELICA is a brand name bead produced by Miyuki the world standard glass seed bead manufacturer known for their brilliance, uniform tubular shape and high quality, est. in the 1930’s. Origin Japan. An excellent use for even-count & odd-count peyote stitch plus brick stitch. With seed bead sizing, in general, the larger the size number, the smaller the bead is in size. "Seed beads" is a term meaning small bead. ~ (DC) = duracoat, ~S/L = silver-lined, ~(M) = matte, ~(D) = dyed, ~Different color finishes affect both weights and bead count per gram, so approximates are used. ~Color holds up well, there is no problems with general use. ~Individual fading issues/color change that could occur with any color bead type - maybe due to bright sun exposure/ultraviolet light, skin acid or deterioration with time. ~Best to also avoid dry cleaning and/or washing beads with harsh hand soaps or chemicals. Overall, from our experience/feedback there has been less than .01% issues with these types Delica bead colors.Finished DELICA seed bead designs are smooth and resembles a flat like aspect.
